The London Internship Program offers exciting weekend events together with students from all around the world in order for you to make the most out of your time living in London for the summer. Amazing intern and travel experiences is what our program is all about. We take care of the details—transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, your guaranteed internship and more—so you can focus on enjoying the fantastic city of London while interning abroad.
During your time in London you have all your public transportation covered as part of the program fee. We provide you with an all-you-can-use transportation card in the central part of the city (Zone 1& 2) so you can fully discover London via bus, tube or train as much as you want.
Our London team is here to make your experience extraordinary from start to finish. Explore London with a whole crew of students in your new home town with included sightseeing and plenty of free time to do your own thing – it’s interning abroad at its best.
The events we organize are one of the most popular features of our program. Experience historic London through visiting the most popular tourist attractions; explore the unique British football culture, and even an overnight trip overseas to another exciting European capital. Although you will be working during the day, these events aim to give you full advantage of what the city has to offer.

Guided Tour of the City
Welcome to London! We will start this amazing summer in England with a guided tour of the city. Bring your camera, as the tour will show you the main attractions of the city. Enjoy the notorious Ben Ben, the Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and much more! After exploring the city by bus, you will be treated a classic British lunch!
Stonehenge & Bath
You must visit this historical place in Stonehenge & Bath before leaving London! Stonehenge is a collection of stones dragged to this lonely plain near Salisbury over 3,000 years ago. Who built it? Why? Nobody knows but UNESCO’s added it to the World Heritage Sites many years ago. After visiting Stonehenge in the morning we will continue our day trip to Bath, a beautiful Georgian city where the Romans built amazing temples, taking baths and enjoying the beautiful views! Don’t forget your camera as this a great opportunity for photos!
Overnight to Paris
Bonjour! You’ll be spending the weekend in the most visited city in the world – Paris! Full of amazing history, beauty and culture, Paris and France will guaranteed take your breath away. For this weekend you will take a tour through the most popular districts and get to experience the fantastic and world-famous Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triumph and Notre Dame Cathedral. After a typical French group lunch you will be free to take on the sights and explore the rest of the cities’ charming and countless museums and shopping area! At night, you’ll have the choice of how you want to spend your time in the capital of France. Absolute Internship will help to propose activities and places to explore. Whatever you choose to do this weekend will be unforgettable.
Explore the many famous local markets in London together with our Absolute staff such as the Portobello Road Market, known for its famous antiques and handicrafts market, the Borough Market, popular food by London Bridge. Act like a real Londoner and buy yourself something exotic for dinner, or just taste what London has to offer! There is a range of food to discover! We will also make a stop at Brick Lane, famous for its Bangladeshi community and South Asian restaurants. Be sure to try their curry as its popular among the Londoners!
A 450 foot tall Ferris-wheel with a total of 32 capsules. Each of these capsules holds 25 people looking over the Thames that allow great views of the heart of London. The capsules are so large that small weddings can be held inside. Lastly, this presents an amazing perspective of London at night. The London Eye is a must-see of London.
We want to help you build friendships and get acquainted with your new city. To help you, our Absolute staff will be planning unsponsored events for the entire group every week. These events are voluntary, but we recommend that you attend these as they will make sure that you will get to know your new city as well the host country.
Throughout the London Internship Program, our Absolute staff will organize group dinners in various restaurants in the city center. This is a great way to get to know the amazing variety of international cuisine London has to offer! The last weekend, the group will be spending one final evening, dining, dancing all through the night before saying goodbye to each other. A night you won’t forget!
