The Stockholm Internship Program offers many exciting social events and activities during the weekends to give you the chance to connect with your new friends from the program through unforgettable experiences. Your summer with Absolute, will be filled with cultural excursions, trips, and more. Although you will be working during the weekdays, these events aim to give you full advantage of what Sweden has to offer.

Guided Tour of the City
Let’s get to know your new city – Stockholm is an amazing place to spend the summer! A guided tour will allow us to know more this city with 14 islands on an extensive Baltic Sea archipelagos. Stockholm is home to hundreds of famous sights such as the Nobel Museum, the Abbba Musuem and the famous Skansen zoo.
Day Trip
Explore Swedish cities such as Goteborg, Drottningholm Palace or one of Sweden’s many archipelago and learn about the Swedish way of life, culture and history.
Cultural Visits
Spend time visiting great museum such as the Nobel Museum and the Vasa Museum where you can see the only almost fully intact 17th century ship that has ever been salvaged after it sank in 1628.
Ostermalm Saluhall
Housed in a red brick building from the 19th century, Östermalm Saluhall is a wonderful place to eat lunch, to purchase fixings for a picnic, or to find authentic Swedish souvenirs to bring home. This is the best place for all of us to share a traditional Fika with a delicious kanelbullar (cinnamon bun)!
Unsponsored Events
We want to help you build friendships and get acquainted with your new city. To help you, our Absolute staff will be planning unsponsored events for the entire group every week. These events are voluntary, but we recommend that you attend these as they will make sure that you will get to know your new city as well the host country.
