Public transportation is without doubt the most common way to navigate and get around London. The public transportation system in London is very efficient and follows strict schedules. When living in London for the summer, you can expect to use public transport, especially the tube, on a daily basis to commute to your internship. The tube operates generally between approximately 5:30 am to midnight, so travel in the early morning hours may involve night buses and/or taxis.

You will receive an Oyster Card upon arrival which allows you to take advantage of the public transportation system with unlimited rides with the tube and bus within Zone 1 and 2.
