As part of the program with Absolute Internship, you will be staying in Paris, in a high-quality student residence with easy access to the world-renown public transportation system. You will be in a shared room with one other participant from the program with private bathroom and toilet. You will live together with the rest of our group of participants and will never feel alone in the city. The housing is always located within zones 1&2 of the Paris metro system which can sometimes be slightly outside of the city’s limits (périphérie)

Public transportation is very easy and the most common way to navigate and get around Paris. When living in Paris for the summer, you can expect to use public transport, especially the subway and the bus, on a daily basis to commute to your internship. The subway operates generally between approximately 6:00 am to 00.00am, so travel in the early morning hours may involve night buses and/or taxis.
You will receive the Navigo Package Month upon arrival which allows you to take advantage of the public transportation system with unlimited rides with the bus, metro, tram and short-distance train in Paris (Zone 1-3).
Paris is a safe and exciting city, and we’ll be with you every step of the way as you explore it. Our International Internship Program in Paris is run by a dedicated and knowledgeable team of Absolute staff ensuring your safety at all time.
All cultural excursions and weekend activities in Paris have been coordinated with student safety as our top priority. Upon arrival, you’ll have an orientation to familiarize yourself with the housing facilities, neighborhood and public transport. You’ll also be provided with key contact information along with guidance on health-, emergency procedures and staying safe throughout your summer in France.

The Paris Internship Program provides exciting weekend events in order for you to make the most out of your time living in France and Europe. Although you will be working during the day, these events aim to give you full advantage of what the city has to offer. Even though your internship is the most important, it’s essential that you take advantage of living abroad.
Get to know the romantic French capital! A tour guide will join the program and show around the best spots, most of them you will recognize from the movies. This is a great way to explore Paris and get to know the many charming districts of your new home.
While in the program, you will have the chance to explore other areas and villages nearby. You will have the chance to immerse yourself in the French countryside area as well as experience the beauty and its historical Château de Versailles.
As part of the program, you have the opportunity to get to visit the Paris’ finest architecture, museums and art scene, such as Le Louvre, Musée d’Orsay and the Centre Pompidou.
To immerse yourself in the French lifestyle, there are so many fun activities that you can join in your free time. Taste the best crêpes and macarons, walk around the lovely Montmartre or go shopping in Galeries Lafayette. The possibilities are endless!
We want to help you build friendships and get acquainted with your new city. To help you, our Absolute staff will be planning unsponsored events for the entire group every week. These events are voluntary, but we recommend that you attend these as they will make sure that you will get to know your new city and the other interns on the program.
The Career Development Workshops by Absolute Internship take place before you arrive in Bangkok and before you leave back to your home country
The purpose of the first session is to introduce you to Bangkok’s unique business culture and to prepare you for what to expect while interning there. We will cover the main cultural differences in the workplace but also in the day-to-day.
The Second Career Development Workshop session happens just before you leave back to your home country and it is an exceptionally valuable aspect of the internship program, as it allows you to gain insight on how recruiters work and how you can sell your international internship experience on LinkedIn, your CV and when interviewing with your next employer.
In addition to the series, we regularly inform our participants about relevant networking events in the city as we have strong collaborations with some of the largest and most important Chamber of Commerce and specific industry organizations that hold events every month.
Absolute multilingual on-site staff is available 24/7 and is dedicated to delivering a top-quality experience for you to make sure that your stay abroad is as safe as possible.
Staff members will act as program guides, leading you to all the program events and excursions. Our staff will also follow up with you ongoing making sure that you are having a productive time abroad both socially and professionally.
Once you arrive in your host city abroad, we will pick you up at the airport together with all the other interns and accompany you to the intern housing. We will be providing you with an inclusive Welcome Pack, transportation card, and much more. The same evening we will be treating you to a Welcome Dinner where you will have the opportunity to meet the other interns and the program staff.
Visas are not required for courses of less than 90 days for nationals of the European Union and the following countries: Antigua and Barbuda, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Barbados, Bermuda, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Macau, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, United States (excluding the Northern Mariana Islands), Uruguay, Vatican City and Venezuela.
When joining the Paris program, Absolute Internship will notify you if you need a visa or not. Upon enrollment into the program you will receive a list of documents needed for us to process your visa. As the visa process may take up to 5 weeks we will ask you to be very cooperative with us and provide the documents needed on time.
The program fee does not include your visa fee and all associated costs. Absolute Internship will assist you in the application process but will not submit or process any visa application on your behalf.
Program inclusions may vary for Spring, Winter, and Fall programs.
For university cohort programs, inclusions may differ based on the agreement between Absolute Internship and your university. Please refer to your acceptance letter or contact your university for details.

The program includes a personalized internship placement in your industry of choice, high-quality shared accommodation, airport pick-up service, welcome event and orientation weekend, and professional development activities.
No. English is the only language requirement for an Absolute Internship, but knowing a little French would definitely be helpful.
We work with both small and large companies with established internship programs. Unfortunately, we can’t provide a list of companies that we work with due to confidentiality reasons.
You will reside in high quality student housing, centrally located. Transport connections are just a short walk away. Living and socialising alongside other students from all over the world will be a fun and memorable part of your summer experience with Absolute Internship.
You will need to purchase your own flights and international insurance. Additionally, you will be required to cover any food, drinks and personal shopping expenses accrued throughout the summer.

Work-based learning is regarded as an educational opportunity, and more often than not visa specifications require that international internships be unpaid.
Nevertheless, in rare cases, interns can and do receive renumeration.
Our placement team will not make this a priority when searching for your internship and we therefore recommend that you assume your internship will be unpaid.
Flights are not included in the price but we can help suggest flights for you in advance.
We will help organise group lessons for participants who want to learn French. This is not included in the price. Please speak to the Absolute Internship team before arrival in order to arrange your language lessons.
