21 Aug Weekend in La France!
We arrived in Paris at the correct time of 6:30 pm after a few hours train ride and went for a lovely dinner early and then experienced meeting our hostel, sitting by the water and having a casual glass of french wine.
The first day in Paris Dalena and myself went for an early morning walk through the streets of Paris to a near by cafe where we enjoyed a coffee, croissant and a baguette. We walked back the the hostel to meet up with the group for a day of sightseeing including the The Lourve, Eifel Tower, Notre Dame and the Arc De Triumph. Paul, Shaaira, Divya, Vanessa and myself then went for high tea at one of the most famous tea rooms in Paris, the Laduree where we enjoyed macaroons, sorbet, pastries, eclairs and iced coffee.
In the evening we all met up as a group and went for dinner at Cafe Frances in Bastille where we enjoyed french delicacies. We then went for a quite drink in the area where we enjoyed the simple things in life sipping french wine and engaging in conversation. Absolutely exhausted from the days travels sight seeing we then all headed back to the hostel for a good nights sleep.
Early the next day we all departed back on the train together heading home for our last week in London.
