Diversity and inclusion within higher education is an extremely important topic for all of us here at Absolute Internship. The racial and ethnic diversity of US students studying abroad has improved from 18% to 30% in the last decade. Our mission is to provide resources for diverse students abroad that will make international study or internships even more accessible.

Diversity at Absolute Internship
At Absolute Internship we have placed students from more than 53 different nationalities and as a small in-house team of 15 employees we have 13 different nationalities between us! This is just one of the reasons why inclusion and equality within the higher education industry is especially important for us as a team. Study and intern abroad programmes are changing and becoming more diverse, our own programmes saw a 342% increase of international students enrolled as of June 2021 compared to the previous year.

For this mission, we have created a guide of resources for diverse students abroad that will help you learn about possible funding opportunities for many different groups. We hope this comprehensive list of resources, both external and internal, will help students from all backgrounds have greater access to further education abroad.
Diversity and inclusion in higher education are improving every year but it is still not good enough.
