Events in Seoul

The Seoul Internship Program provides exciting weekend events in order for you to make the most out of your time living in South Korea. Although you will be working during the day, our Seoul events aim to give you full advantage of what the city has to offer. Even though your internship is the most important, it’s essential that you take advantage of living abroad.

Day Trip to Bukchon Hanok Village

The name Bukchon, which literally translates to “northern village,” came about as the neighborhood lies north of two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture.

Seoraksan National Park

Seoraksan National Park was designated as Korea’s fifth national park in 1970, after the designation of Hallyeohaesang National Park, and as Korea’s first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1982. The mountain is also full of hidden scenic views of Biryongpokpo Falls, Ulsan Peak, Heundeulbawi Rock, and Geumganggul Cave.

Weekend Trip to Busan

Some three and a half million people are lucky enough to call Busan home, but this bustling port at the southern tip of the Korean Peninsula gracefully balances big city life with community charm. With spectacular seaside beaches, historic temples, vintage shopping and some of the best seafood on the planet; the San Francisco of South Korea awaits.
