Transportation in Barcelona

Public transportation is very easy and the most common way to navigate and get around Barcelona. When living in Barcelona for the summer, you can expect to use public transport, especially the subway and the bus, on a daily basis to commute to your internship. The subway operates generally between approximately 5:00 am to 1;00am, so travel in the early morning hours may involve night buses and/or taxis.

You will receive a Travel Card T-Mes upon arrival which allows you to take advantage of the public transportation system with unlimited rides with the bus, metro, tram and short-distance train (cercanias) in Barcelona.

Commitment to Safety

Barcelona is a safe and exciting city, and we’ll be with you every step of the way as you explore it. Our International Internship Program in Barcelona is run by a dedicated and knowledgeable team of Absolute staff ensuring your safety at all time.
